I don't think either one helps much with the water going into the vehicle, but I like the mopar ones.

Been talking to Night&DayJK through PM on this subject. I have had my sills bedlined for over a year now (I think I was the first to do it back then). Even after a salty shitty Canadian winter they have held up. I think on my passenger side a chip came off at the edge and that was it. My drivers side which sees my combat boots daily still looks like the day it was done. Probably the best thing about this mod is how easy it wipes up.
I cant remember what grit I used but I know it wasnt 80....maybe 200 IIRC.

Having used the Duplicolor for my bumper and my sills, I tried another brand called EZliner for my door hinges. I actually prefer the EZ Liner for its finish. Thing is I dont know where you Americans can get it as I get it at Canadian Tire up here.

You know... until reading this I had been meaning to purchase the mopar sills but I think now I am just going to take some leftover bedliner and spray the sills.... Good thread!

I think 3M clear protective plastic works best in this area. Nothing can get under it, no seal problems, protects paint from scratches, and can be removed and replaced easily.

it sounds like you run a clean rig!!if ya get too much teexture from the brush,ya gotta clean it out that could be a pain!!thats why i went with the smooth plastic

Thats what I did. I used the mopar sill covers and then added the 3m clear tape. It looks good still.

You cant even tell.

ohh you have no clue!! im super anal and picky when it comes to my toys/cars jeep or not i like keeping it looking as new as possible for as long as possible, which is why one of my skis are a 13 year old seadoo and it still looks like i just pulled it out of the dealer (mind you i only ride it in saltwater) with the jeep i litterally get under it and pull mud balls off the skid plates, inner bumpers, etc. i just like keeping my stuff looking good

anyways i'll be doing this today, i'll take pics on my phone so i can upload them quickly. i wish i could find ez line i like it better but cant find it anywhere so duplicolor will do, wish me luck
