So I could go with a 3.5" lift, 37x12.5x17's BFG KM2 with what backspacing?, stubby front bumper, rear bumper with tire carrier (looking at smitty), trim rear pinch seams...anything else that would be a must to start out with?

People have been running 37's on the d30 long before the jk so run them if you would like. I personally (even with 35s) take it easy on the skinny pedal, and it helps a lot. As for backspacing i would go with either 4" to 3.75". I run 3.75

I'm having a hard time finding wheels with that much backspacing. I did find some 17x9 with 4.00" that I like though.

I'm running the Rough Country 4" suspension with a 1" poly spacer in front to level it out and 37x13.50 toyos. I LOVE MY SET UP!!! I also have the RC dual steering stabilizer so it isn't real squirrelly on the road. I have a JKUS '07 auto and I'm regearing to 5:13 to bring it back to stock. Since you have a '13 you can get away with 4:88 since your 3.6 comes with 95 more hp

I'm running 37s on a 30 and I wheel it. That is intell it snaps then it's upgrade time. If ur going to up grade go with a PR44 or a 60 if you have the funds for it.

I think I'm gonna have to just get 37's and run it til it breaks. It's not a DD so I can live with it if something happens. I know if I do 35's I'm just going to want 37's.

I don't mind spending more for a good lift, but don't want to go crazy on the lift if I don't need to. Also, what else is a must to run 37's. I have 3:73's right now. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I run the BDS 4.5" lift, and stock driveshafts. I have wheeled it and have had no need for a front or rear driveshaft replacement.
