bobicon that is a great question. Sorry I havnt responded to anyone earlier. It sounds like gears is going to be my best bet. I am staying with a 16-18 foot trailer less than 3500lbs. Now for regearing. I plan on getting 33's soon so what gear? 4:88 or 5:13

If you have an automatic go with 5.13's. Some may consider that a bit steep with 33's, but for towing a 3500 pound trailer it would be better than 4.88's.
