He said auto tranny not manual guys. 4:10 will still be a dog, 4:56 would be much better. I would personally do the 4:88 for your set up

Dealer said I have 4.10s...Dana 30 frt and Dana 44 rear. He said they would look at the software to make sure it is up to date. I have to take it in next week for the inner fender liner recall anyway...

I got a "HOTOIL" in the odometer spot the other day.. I cant find it in the manual. Engine coolant temp was good...Is that message for the tranny? I was offroad climbing a hill at about 10-15 mph at about 2000 rpm 2nd gear. auto tranny...

Go 5:13's with Detroit TrueTracs front and rear. About $1200 per axle with all that.

If your jeep is that bad with 4.10's then you definitely need the 488's but plan ahead. A lot of people get 33's and regret not doing 35's. If that is the case you would want 513's. As far as lockers figure out how you will use the jeep. You might get by with getting a winch if you get stuck

you are driving a brick shaped vehicle that mini van dads envy........regear to 4:88's or 5:13's and you will be impressed. when you add bigger tires regearing is about the only real solution but chipping it will help until you get the right gears in there

My 07's the same way. Even after programming with a ProCal. I've learned to just lock out the o/d whenever I find it shifting excessively. At some point down the road I may regear, but it won't be anytime soon.
