After much reading and many questions I think I have my mod plan all set. I have a 2008 Sahara with 18" rims. Like most, I want more than I can afford so I need to stagger things a bit...Thanks to all who have helped me along the way.

1) Teraflex 2.5"BB with shocks - ordering Monday...
2) 33" tires
3) Replace 2.5 in front spacers with Teraflex 3" BB coil springs
4) New bumper - TBD
5) Winch - TBD

I'm sure I will add to this over time but this will get me started....

 

sounds like a great plan, post some pics when you get "done" LOL with this part anyway, it never ends

 

you may want to re-think some things. you can order skyjacker 2.5" front springs and 1.75" rear spacers for about $120-$140 (about the same as most budget boots). i went 33" tires, then 1.75" BB. i'm kicking myself b/c i was sure 33s were gonna be the max size. after just 1.75" of lift, i know i want 35s and have plenty of room, but now i have to wait til i can afford them (since i just bought 33s).

Why don't you just go for the rough country 4" lift with springs and shocks for $545.oo??? It sounds like the cheaper way and the less painful of what you're trying to do.

 

I chose this route because I really like the look of a the level 2.5" and wanted to maintain this after I added the bumper and winch. I don't think I'll ever go bigger than 33's because 1) MPG and 2) I will have to re-gear. I'm running 32's on 3.21 and believe I can get by with 33's but that is pushing it.

The 4" is an interesting option but i think that might be too much for the 32" or 33" wheels. Plus, I only have about 8" of clearance to get the JK in and out of my garage. 4" with 33 or 35's is awefully close.
