Default Name that noise?

Hey ya'll. I've been away from the site for sometime. I've been travelling the country coaching baseball. Anyhow...

My 07 has recently started popping, cracking, clicking, & every other word i can think of when I brake or hit even the smallest bump. Everything is tight on the 3" FT suspention. Any ideas?

more than likely, it is your front track bar. when you installed it, did you make sure to thoroughly apply white lithium grease to the bushing and crush sleeve upon installation?

It sounds like it's coming from the front and rear, so maybe it's time to grease EVERTHING. Thanks guys. ~6

yeah, that's where i would start. the bushings on the FT track bars are made out of a hard plastic like substance. when dry, they can stick as they rotate and that will cause the sound you are describing. as mentioned, take apart your bushings and apply a generous amount of high grade white lithium grease to both halfs of it as well as the crush sleeve. i am still running an FT track bar and have only greased it 2 times in over 25,000 miles and it still doesn't make any noise.

The Teraflex control arms came all assembled. I am going to unthread the heim joint and apply anti-seize, but other than lubing through the zerk fitting, should I apply grease in any other way? Specifically white lithium?

naw, you should be good with just greasing through the zerk.
