Default Narrow 34" tires

Here in MA, there is a lift law formula. While I do get a 1" 'fudge factor", the result of the formula for the JK 2 door is a max 2" lift and 2" tire size increase.

So, for the Rubi, that translates to roughly a 34" tire. Since the sidewall printing doesn't matter, just the actual size I was wondering if anyone knew some tires in the 34" range? Preferably no wider than 11". (I have no idea what the fascination is with really wide tires, but it seems so hard to find narrow ones)

I'm a fan of the 255/85R16 size, it is only 33.3" though.

I'm also not a fan of wide tires, and narrow tires are hard to find in North America. If only we could get Simex tires....

I run 305 BFGs and I think 305 on 18" rims comes to about 34. What size rims do you have, that will make a diff. Also, I bet if you asked some of the guys on the forum to actually measure the heighth of their 35's, a bunch of them will come in at 34.

305 is a pretty wide tire.

I thought I was the only crazy one who wanted tall narrow tires. Have been afraid I'd be flamed for asking this question. Thus far I've been unable to find anything that is tall enough for me, and has an aggressive enough tread pattern. Anyone with suggestions?

Interco SSR in a 35x10.5 is perfect, except the damn think weight 76 lbs and costs a lot more than it should!

The SSR 285/75R16 os not bad, a lot cheaper, slightly wider, is 33.9" tall, but again, weight 72lbs!

I dont see the point of wider tires when driving on icy/snowy highways so much.

I will probably end up wit a 255/85R16 on a 16x8 AEV Bridgers.

What is the formula, including the fudge factor? Is it actually enforced? Inquiring minds want to know

Interco's LTB comes in 16 and 17" versions of the 34x10.5 size, and is a very tough, aggressive tire.

What is the Super Swamper LTB...

The Super Swamper LTBs are in the same basic Three Stage Lug design as the famous Super Swamper TSL's but a little more aggressive. The large lug is offset more to the outside which gives the tire superb traction. It is in bias ply construction which allows for the more aggressive lugs and very strong sidewalls to better resist the rigors of hard off-roading. The bias construction reduces the chances of sidewall splitting when run off road at low air pressure. There are seven sizes available….sizes which are not available in the regular TSL line.

i believe they make the same tire in a radial i saw them on the quadtec website for about 162$ i.m from the new england also and i like the tall skinny tire. we use to run down to sandy neck with a 78' f250 camper with 9.00 x 16's on it. we had no problem air down to run on the beach. i don't think they sell them is this size anymore. i would like to get the super swampers or a military tire but nothing is gonna happen until my stock wheels run bald. can't afford to repl. something that still has some life left in them
