X3 step stool and grab handles for wife'85 yr old grandma to get in her stock TJ. No way she can get in mine though.

valsco- I may have spelled the name wrong has a side step that will mount to the frame and it is removable... You can get it from 4 wheel parts I believe for about 75 dollars.. My wife is pregnant I have one for her. It works very well. Hope it works, sorry to hear about your dad hope he gets well soon...
