With my Dakota truck, I hauled 2 hot tubs and the stopping was crazy fast after installing slotted rotors and the EBC pads. I have been thinking of dueing the same thing after RubyDoo gets her 35's.

Seems like a good Idea, Which pads did you use and any recommendations for slotted rotors?

Arrow Found slotted rotors

Google for brakeperformance

These folks are not a sponsoring vendor but they do have slotted rotors for our JKs.

No affiliation or experience with them. Just trying to help

I have used Brembo drilled+slotted rotors on previous vehicles, they do make a huge difference. I want a set for mine but I can deal with mine now til I get a little more use out of them.

Do you only need to upgrade the front and NOT the rear brakes? I was going to do all of them... but if I can save some coin

Somebody's supposedly working on a brake upgrade. One of the sponsors I think. Maybe it's Crocker (sp)?

My brakes seem pretty good though and I'm running 37's.

My Brakes seemed pretty good until I had to make an Emergency Stop yesterday on the highway, took longer than stock and I thought stock was just adequate it felt like it was fighting to stop rolling..., mind you this is my First Jeep Wrangler ....

Brakes? Just stand on it harder...or try stopping a '71 FJ40 with 4 wheel drums, that is an experience.
