Default Need comments about loctite

I received the Performance Accessories 1" body lift today (thanks Stan ) , and it includes a Loctite tube. The other body lift manufacturers don't include this product.
What do you think of Loctite? I heard that you have to heat the bolts (with Loctite) if you want to remove the body lift.

Comments please

in my experience loctite works really good I've used it in my wheels, and I don't think you have to heat it up to take them off however it does become a lot harder to undo a screw, but to me that's why is there for

What colour of loctite did they send you?

Blue = a little extra work to remove the bolt/nut/screw, but no biggie.

Red = a lot of extra work

Other colours = get out your torch.

Red. If you're gonna go, go large. It doesn't need heat and holds stuff quite securely. If it's a little tough, use a longer wrench.

No locktite on my bl mount bolts and they're fine after a year and a half.

In fact, I plan on putting neverseize on mine before long. Ever taken out body mount bolts that were on for several years of off-roading. Get out the drill and torch.

In the instructions, i read that you have to heat the bolts at 450 degree if you want to remove the BL

Are you planning on taking it off You dont need it but you might want to check the torque on the bolts every once in a while. You'll know if they get loose. My buddy had some rusted out mounts and when you turned a certain way the whole cab tipped
