A lot of people base their mods on an image they have in their mind of what they want their Jeep to LOOK like, and then get disappointed when that image doesn't work in the real world they use it in.

My advice is, take the time to do an honest assessment of what YOU need before you spend a dime and regret it later.

It's easy to over-build a Jeep. You rarely see somebody spending time and money to UN-build a Jeep after they've built it up. Many of the off-road mods you see out there are just that: OFF road mods. That usually comes at the price of highway and street manners. It's a trade-off. Be realistic.

Good luck!
Yea, that's true. I won't be driving it on the highway all the time, but would like to drive it sometimes (not just for offroading). I have it parked in a garage right now waiting for me to get back to the states so I have about a year and a half to throw some money and a lot of parts at it. Lol

yea ive checked out the EVO enforcer lift and like it. i just keep hearing places that a Long arm is the way to go. better handling and more stability. i dont know if anyone here has seem the latest issue of 4x4 GARAGE but they built a '12 JKU with the enforcer lift and bilstein 5160 res shocks, beefed up dana 44's on 37's. it was funny because this was pretty much the exact setup i was thinking about going with. they say that its built for the street and mild trails. sounds like what i would be using it for.

like i said i wont really be doing any crazy offroading with it generally but would love to make my way out there to utah, arizona and what not. i know that at it will get driven on the road so i would like it to be somewhat driver friendly. i also want to run 37's i just dont know if i should get a short or long arm. is a short arm lift just as capable as a long arm?

i know with 37's Imo going to need good axels and components and re-gearing. is there anything else that i "Need" when running 37's or larger?

ive thought about setting it up for 35's but ive read so much where people have did the same at 1st and then regretted it because they all ended up wanting to go 37's then spent more $$$ in the long run rather than just going with 37's to begin with

yea ive seen the EVOLever and Coils. man are they AWESOME!! if i was able to spend that much money on it now thats what i would do. but if im not mistaken i could get the EVO enforcer, or their DoubleD long arm kit and in time UpGrade it with their coilovers right? and still save some of the parts.

for me its between the Enforcer and the DoubleD. i just dont know if i should spend the extra money and go with the long arm.

I've put over 14,000 miles on my 2012 since I lifted it. Quite a bit of that was for JKX where we did some mild trails and a little highway driving. I am completely happy with the set up and haven't felt limited in any way thus far. I'd suggest giving Chris or Jake a call and telling them what you are thinking/looking for. They will steer you in the right direction.

If you are thinking about 37s, you shouldn't even bother with 35s. Mine only lasted a few months and about 7000 miles.

Good luck!
