I have shocks thats for 2" to 4" lift. Can the teraflex leveling kit 1.5 work with those size shocks i already have. Would daily driving and trail rides be ok?

What are the compressed/extended lengths of the shocks?

You might need to bumpstop to keep the shocks from bottoming out. That and you might need spring retainers in the rear to keep them from popping out.

In addition, you could also look in to a synergy relo kit for chopping off and relocating the shock mounts. They make both upper and lower, but you could use just the upper one to give more extension.

I would look up the part # on the shock and find the specs. I would only suggest running 2.5" shocks with bumpstops on a leveling kit.

Question Hey Teraflex,

I'm in a similar situation with your spacer leveling kit. I'm looking at getting new shocks that I can later use on a 2.5" coil kit. I'd rather not have to buy shocks twice. Can I safely use shocks for a 2.5"?

For the front shocks, measure the extended length (middle of the eye to middle of the eye). For a 2 Dr it should not be over 24.5", otherwise your front drive shaft will rub against exhaust pipe that crosses over. I went with 1.5"-3.0" fox shocks instead of the longer ones for that very reason.
