Need help with control arm bushings, in Moab.
I am here in Moab, since Saturday. After 3 runs I am going to have to call it quits due to a REALLY BAD squeaking, like some one jumping on an old spring mattress.
Seems like the control arm bushings on my Full Traction adustable control arms. They are noticably split. I greased them and checked for tightness but no difference.
For those that had a problem with the bushings, did they squeek horribly? It takes about an hour on the trail and it starts and gets worse through the day. Today it almost made me go crazy...If I could get some new ones I could probably change them out and get back out there, but I guess they have to come from Full Traction.
I will check Wednesday at the JK Jam and see if they are around.
Any advice?

Only worry when the squeeking stops...then you start getting the clunks and bangs. I am in contact with Hanson Offroad they seem to be repping FT.
When my first set went bad I heard that FT had a booth at EJS and that they were passing out bushings. You might be able to have someone spot you a set until they get there. I think they will be there. Good luck!

thanks for the reply. I meet up with the Full Traction folks here today and they will get me set up with new bushings tomorrow. very nice people and concerned for their product support.
