Default Need help identifying this part

Could you guys tell me what this part is? I'm referring to the round part in the pic below with the word 'TOP' stamped on top of it. I'm looking to move some components around to make room for a supercharger project and need to know what this component does.

EVAP canister purge solenoid.

Be careful moving it. There is a right-angle bent vacuum hose on the bottom that is notorious for breaking and causing P0455 CEL (evaporative system gross leak detected). It becomes brittle from engine heat and is easily damaged.

Thanks for the info. I was planning to replace the hard plastic lines with rubber fuel line (reinforced). Apparently RIPP install does this too.
