Need Help! Transfer case

If I buy a transfer case out of a 2011 manual jk to put in my 2007 automatic jk. Will it work? Thanks

I believe the output is different between the auto and manual. I'd have to check. otherwise yeah it would use all the same shafts, mounts, etc.

They are interchangeable through 2011. Starting in 2012, autos will only work with 2012+ autos, but manuals still work with everything but the 2012+ autos.

Well, I should say I know that holds true when swapping a Rubi case into a non-Rubi. Can't see how it would be different when swapping the same case.

Thanks guys. Someone told me it may just be that I need to get a automatic transmission specific tail shaft.
