You can run the Rubicon in a stock JK...

Sure, if you run them with rubi rails, you should be ok. Albeit, it seems a bit ridiculous to put two inferior products together to get the job done.

You get what you pay for. I happen to live in eastern MI. Take it for what it's worth, but the legit off-roaders that work at Ace, don't run the body mount sliders.

I have the ACE sliders on my JK and haven't had a problem with them. I've also ordered several things from them recently and everything shipped out the same day. I do still have the stock Rubi rails on as well. That being said, I don't go out of my way to beat the tar out of my Jeep either. For the money, and for the amount of wheeling I do the ACE sliders have been great. They are also guaranteed for LIFE!!

They guarantee the slider. They don't cover it when they crush your b-pillar and your door won't close anymore.

Look, buy the ace stuff and be happy. All I'm saying is that I know plenty of people that bought it and were happy and then dropped onto a rock and bent their JK severely. Feel free to take a number and be one of those people. Eventually they'll call your name.

I also have Ace sliders for about 3 years now. I rock crawl a lot and have bashed the shit out of those sliders. The sliders themselves are so gauged up and beat but my Jk has been fine. My rig is heavy too and has come smashing down on those Ace sliders plenty without issue. They may not be the nicest looking product out there but they do their job quite well.

I've seen the ACE sliders flex so much that it bent the pinch seam at every body mount location. I like my JCR Offroad Classic Sliders. YES, they mount to the body, but they also attach tothe punch seam. JCR is working on boat side style sliders. When they come out with those on the JK, I may switch them out.
