I can google but anyone want to share thoughts on their rock sliders? Who ships reliably and who takes your money and then makes you wait forever?

Thanks.

JCR Offroad makes a couple different sliders. One attaches to the body mounts and pinch seam (I have these) and the other requires drilling into the body and applying nutcerts. I might have gone with those, but I have Bushwacker flat fenders and one or the other would need to be trimmed. Made in USA in Michigan. Good ship times and the do ship free of charge. You can buy them bare or powder coated. I've met these guys on several occasions and have even visited the shop where the parts are made. Stand up people that stand up behind the product.

Open to input but I think I am going to go with LOD or Shrockworks....as they bolt onto the frame. I want frame mount and I can't weld so...I CAN drill a hole. 😊

Any negative experiences with either or any other frame mounted rails to consider?

I have the LOD sliders and they have been great. They are very well built. I wouldn't hesitate to order them again.

LoD here and I have beat the crap out of them and other than a little missing powder coat and a small dent (nothing would have survived the rock hit), they're as solid as the day I bought them. Plus, they're great to work with if you have issues.

And while people generally don't care, the step turns out to be really functional. Everything from washing the top, to getting a better view of an obstacle.

Northridge stocks them and has awesome pricing and free shipping.

Being in stock is a win. I like the simple style of the Shrockworks but I think they make them to order which usually means a ridiculous wait.

You may check OR-Fab Rock Slider too

Helped a buddy here install them on his '12 jk wrangler 2 door couple of months ago, no weld. Easy install and sturdy.

I have the TJM rock sliders.

I would discrible them as mini boat sliders.
Frame mounted.
Sliders come powder coated.
they build in a place for a hi-lift to lock in their sliders.
The mounting is 95% bolt with one 1 bolt the has to be drilled.

NOTE:these pictures are not my vehicle.

I went with ACE bolt-on so I could keep my Rubi rails. Yes they don't have the clearance of weld-on but it hasn't been a problem so far. I like them and they are tough.
