Default Need some help

I have a 2007 4 door, 6-speed with 3.21 gears. I have been fine with 32" tires. I installed 3" lift. Now I have bought 35" tires. Will it be ok to run the gears with 35" tires or will I start breaking crap? Any advise would be a great help. Thanks.

No 35's will impact drivability/gearing a lot, I have 35's on my TJ and would recommend 4.88 gearing.

If you can live with the lack of power, you can keep your stock gearing. If you hate the performance, then save up for gears.

As far as breaking things goes - it will put more stress on the transmission, which could possibly cause issues.

Default thanks

Does any one know of anyone that can install 4.53 or 4.88 some what cheap in MD or PA. I was hoping to spent less than 1,500 installed.

If you are not wheeling big time you may not want to commit to that much gear right off with a 6 speed. Auto maybe, but the 6 is a bit different. drive it and see what you think first. As far as stress on stuff, yes it will add more to engine and a minor bit to the tranny. It is not a bit worse than the guy wheel hopping his shit up the hill will 37's and 5.XX gears on his. I am easy on mine and do not push it and abuse it. I started wheeling in the jeep for that reason, it doesn't have to be abused to go. Previously I wheeled in a 97 Z71 on 39.5 boggers. The concept behind that was point it where you wish to go, take long drink of , stab the right pedal to the floor and pray. same trail with jeep, no beer is spilt at the top seed of 6mph.
