Default need some winch HELP please

Im looking to buy a winch to go with my new lod stinger. I "thought" Ive narrowed it down to 3

- Mile marker sec8 scout
- $560 w/synthetic
- unknown weight

- Quadratec 11000 lb winch
- $395
- unknown weight

- Bandlands 12000 lb ( harbor frieght)
- $324
- 95 lbs

The harbor frieght looks like the best to me Im just concerned about the weight. The bumper is about 80lbs and the winch is 95.
What do most winches weigh? 175lbs seems like a lot of weight. I was hoping to not have to buy spacers too to level me out but if most winches are this weight I guess I wont have a choice.

Any advice or experience is appreciated. By the way this winch will most likely only see occasional use.

Thanks

Have you looked at the Engo 10k winch with synthetic.... It's lighter great reviews and price. Search Engo threads or Chris at Jeepaddons

Depending on what you plan to do with the winch you may not need to go as big as 12,000lb + model. Few friends have trail rigs and use an 8,000lb Warn winch for recovery. I would look into them that's what's been suggested to me.

just took a look thats a great price for a winch with synthetic and at 63lbs for a 10k winch thats pretty nice. Definitely considering this.
Thanks!

I would love to get a WARN but they are just a little too expensive for me. 12k is probably more than I need even though I have a lifted 4-door but for $324 for a 12k winch is pretty good.

Thanks for the responses

I have. Friend who bought the Badlands winch from HF. He loves it and it works great. For the price you really can't beat it!

Love my 12,000 lb Engo. I just finished using it to pull out three trucks buried up to their frames in thick clay. No regrets here!

I would go with the Engo or Recon over the ones you have listed. Both relatively inexpensive and have good reviews

I have the the Mile marker Scout 8 with synthetic line at 56lbs and it works awesome! It is a little more expensive than the rest but I go wheeling alone alot and needed a reliable winch with synthetic line without the Warn pricetag. Remember you can double the line and get 16k pull out of it too so you don't need a huge winch to get you out of a jamb. I have heard decent stuff about the Engo too.

I pulled the trigger on the MileMarker Scout myself. I was concerned about weight too. I have no doubt it'll be strong enough. They must be pretty popular too, be advised that they are on back order from Quadratech. I ordered mine last week and was told that it would be 2-3 weeks before delivery.
