I'm thinking a 33" tire with a 5" back spaced wheel should work without a lift.
It may rub the fenders when flexing offroad.

Hopefully someone else with more knowledge on this setup will chime in.

I have a similar setup. With 5" backspace, and a factory front bumper with the lower air dam - the tire will rub on the air dam when turned fully to the right (not left for some reason). I am removing the air dam or cutting it for now and seeing if it affects MPG too much.

After all, the Jeep is a brick and the air dam helps smooth the flow under it.
