Default Need winch advice!

Hey guys, I finally decided that I am going to go with the RR XHD winch bumper but I am still on the fence with the winch..I am liking the price on the SB XRC8 alot, but should I wait and save for a better winch? I like the Warn M8000 but I don't think I can justify the cost because I will probably hardly ever use the winch which is why I was looking at the Smittybilt XRC8. Any input on the SB winches would be great! I also think I am going to run the RR XHD w/o the hoop and go for the stinger eventually. Thanks in advance! I also attached a poll!

Mike

Two years and counting on my Smittybilt. It's gotten me out of every situation that I've managed to get myself into. As far as I'm concerned it owes me nothing. I'd buy another one.

I've used mine well over the price for the Smitty,,,,(although I have the 10k with syn. line) and it has'nt let me down yet.... Not the biggest, maybe not the baddest, and truly not the fastest!!!! but it works and that's what counts......

Can't go wrong...for the price its done way more than I can ask for...I try to keep it as a last resort though by wheeling with buddies and taking a come along, chains, hi lift, and tow strap...but Used it several times and has performed great...

Only problem ive had is michigan salt has ruined the finish on the fairlead...going to order a new one and clear it this time...make sure you grab the xrc8 cover too...

I say get the smittybuilt if thats all you can afford. I have one because thats all I could afford and so far it has worked great. I never wheel alone so if it fails I wont be in trouble. I figure if I get 3-4 years out of it, I got my moneys worth. I fI get more great.

I have had my Super winch EPI9.0 for 2 years and used it a bunch. Never fails to work and has very fast line speed.
