Really couldn't tell you, never replaced a shaft. I mean you'd remove brake caliper/ rotor, hub bearing unit, and axle shaft should come out next I think Certainly not the most pleasant thing to do on the trail i'm sure.

Used prices will vary wildly. Maybe $700? (ish?) for the housing and locker. Some people are willing to pay a LOT more, but I wouldn't.

If you get the housing and locker, you will need gears to match the rear, or do both ends. And install or master install kits for each end. And inner shafts and joints from a rubi. The outer shafts can come from a rubi, or you can re-use your d30 outers. And outward from the outer shafts can be re-used from your 30.

If you choose to not get the rubi locker, your choices are a 35sp ARB, which will need 35sp axle shafts also, or a 30sp OX locker with the actuator of your choice. (if the housing has inner sleeves, the 35sp shafts may not be an option?)
nthinuf is in the right ballpark with his prices.

I see that axle is already sleeved and gusseted. If he is providing a fully functioning rubi locker at that price then that is a pretty good deal.

You can not run an ARB with that axle unless those are welded in nitro sleeves, and even then it's a tight fit with the 35 spline shafts (RCV is the only rubi 35 spline available). You have to run 30 spline shafts then, and either a factory locker or OX.

With 30 spline your shaft selection is rather large.

I will avoid the D30 vs D44 on 37's debate

6 bolts and 1 nut after removing the wheel of course.
2 bolts takes the caliper and rotor off as one, 3 bolts for the hub, 1 allen bolt for the ABS sensor, and the axle shaft nut that holds it to the hub. Then just pull the axle shaft out. If it's hard then you can also put a long socket between the C and ear on the stub shaft and turn the steering, pops it right out.

Thanks I'm going to think about what I want to do. I prolly want have the money to upgrade all the parts at once so, what will work on the new housing from my Dana 30? And how much could I get off the 30 housing?
