I just found a great deal for nitto mud grapplers 38x15.50 r 20 and i was wondering what kinda of lift should i be looking at to be able to fit these bad boys... and if there is any modifications or a set of gears or performance items i need to be thinking about while doing the install....?
You'd need some mods to get them under you. If you want to wheel that set up, you'd need more...
At a minimum, you'd need 4.5" of lift + tube fenders and more to run those tires PLUS bump stop extensions. You'd also need gears and stronger axles...

First off congratulations on the new rubber.
You should sit down and read the first hundred pages of so of this forum, going with tires that sizes requires quite a few things and you have many options. There are many little things your going to want to keep your rig running smooth.
If you search for others that are running rubber that size you'll see the shopping list of equipment they have to keep them turning .

Evo double throwdown with the kings would be my lift of choice.
