I have recently considered this mod due to great feedback. Sound is great. I am curious as to how the 22inch would sound compared to the 18? More mellow? Anyone else done this or considered doing it?

I considered it but I was afraid it'd be more ricy. Read somewhere that the 24" was kind of bad.

Yea, I definitely do not want ricy haha. Just looking for something with that tone but a little quieter. Who knows, it might grow on me. Might have to give it a try.

It will take a few weeks for the muffler to break in. In time the sound will get a bit deeper, losing some of the higher tones and a bit quieter.

I'm sorry Dave...I missed it. I do have a good excuse. I only have one eye.....so I guess I could claim I'm half blind. Truthfully, I have not measured MPG with the new muffler........and also truthfully, I really don't give a rat's butt about mileage. I think it's right around the same, because I have not noticed a difference one way or the other. I would have taken a hit in MPG though, IF there was one just for the difference in power. THAT I can feel.

Really?

Put another muffler on and leave the one that you have too. Adding a TB spacer will give you a whistle kind of like that.
