Default New Gears

I am looking to upgrade my gears. Can someone give me some idea on what I should be paying to have them installed?

Really depends where you are and how hard you look. Here in PA, I've found someone who would do them for $550 parts, $300 labor = $850 total. This was a guy who did them on the side. Then there are other shops that want $1700-2000 installed.

I think the average going rate is about $1200-1300-1400 for installed gears, including parts (gears and overhaul kits).

Couple hundred depends on who and where. I paid 150 for mine, but that was a pretty good deal considering he was a buddy of mine. I have been told all the way from 400-600. I recommend shopping around though.

No no no. I wish. that was for per axle with fluids and labor. Not including parts.

513s because its an auto. I am putting in 513s w/ my 6 spd on 35s only because I plan to jump to 37s eventually

I had 5.13s put in mine with 35's and an auto. Im picking it up tomarrow..will post up with the results.

I would also take into consideration you may need new axle seals...$150, and you may also need new clutch plates for the rear if you have a limited slip...$150 if the are worn...

Programmer for the speedo and ratio change...it all adds up
