Mine is a lot better on the highway with 5.13 and 35s - much smoother, much less shifting.

Unless you are expecting to need to go 80-85mph, then you might want to do something like 4.88, but then expect more shifting when you are down around 55-65 range.

I mean, it will go 80mph, but you will be running fairly high RPMs, and the pick-up from 70-80 isn't breathtaking or anything.

I love it, it gets up to speed (60-73mph depending on the highway I am on in PA) just fine, and maintains it without a downshift ever. Hills - no problem. Winds - no problem. At 70mph, it's around 2450 RPM, give or take 50 RPM.

EDIT: Also, fuel economy on highway is not terrible. I have not measured highway only, but normally its sitting around 15mph, as most of the time I am driving stop and go around town, lots of red lights in my little town. However, with a 60-90mph highway drive, normally it will pull the average up to 16.5, meaning the highway economy has to be at least 17.5-18.5 I would think?

Drove it today for the first time on the hwy. Only about 10 miles but there is a significant difference in the shifting (less and smoother) and the amount of push needed on the gas pedal to get up to speed. Setting the cruise @ 65 is no problem at all, and it feels like to jeep is not even trying anymore to get there.

So far I am very impressed and glad I spent the money
