If you're going to have them done at a shop it'll be anywhere from 800 to 1500.

There have been a bunch of threads about this. You may want to search and see if you can find anyone that has got it done in your area, and how much they paid. It varies so much from place to place. I payed $599 for gears and install kits at northridge4x4, then about $30 at oreilys for pinion bearings and gear oil, and labor was $550. So I spent about $1200. There was a couple posts about some place in houston doing it for like $900 parts and labor I think. I know some people have payed over $2k. It is really varied and often determined by location. Both shops in my area that I use charge the same $550 for labor. Get your parts from Dave at northridge and call around for labor quotes. Don't let the shop make money on your parts if you can help it.

The D30/D44 combo has 4.56, 4.88, and 5.13. So yup, but if you're runnin 35s I'd consider 4.88 for a manual and prolly 4.88 with a D30 auto as well, as that pinion is gonna be tiny.
