I looked at the gear chart again and there's like 100 rpms difference between the manual and auto. Not really a difference.

Really the diff is through the rest of the gear range not just the final gear ratio in the 6speed vs auto

You have it wrong auto in 12-13's would have a higher gear not lower maybe you should look at the gear chart

6 speed would run 4.88's auto would run 4.56's
Or
6 speed 4.56 auto 4.10 if you never moved to a true 35
Wasn't this chart published for the 2007 -2011 engine too? I seem to be a little challenged on my search capabilities.

2013 JKU 6MT with 35's. I got the NITRO 4.56 gears and love them. Averaging about 16.5-17mpg.

I have looked at that chart a lot, and running 2500 RPM at 70 is just unnecessary unless you're on some mountain pass. I think 4.56 with a TRUE 35 inch tire is good with the 6MT if this is going to be a DD. A 4.10 would work great with 35's.

Anything higher than that, and you need a money tree for gasoline.
