I need to replace mine. Having trouble getting the nut and bolt loose at the wheel hub. Can't get a 1/2" breaker bar and socket in there, nor my impact wrench or impact socket. SOB won't break with my 3/8" socket. How'd you get yours loose?

I have not done it yet, because the newer ones are a lot bigger.
Before I try I wanted to kow if others have had problems.
I searched and a lot have had theirs replaced e few times but like I said this is totally new and huge.

I have mine replaced, and I don't have any clearance issues. I know a few people that have replaced the dampener with the RC, fox, rancho, bilstein...etc. I would suggest getting one of the mounting kits that moves it up higher and out of the way of getting damaged by rocks and whatever else you may come in contact with.

I just replaced my old TF with the new style today. I have the JKS relocation bracket. I had to cut off the dust shield and trim that cup thingy on the end. It still rubs ever so slightly at full lock. I'll deal with it though. They've got to be better than the old style, right? I burnt through three in a little over a year.

Thanks for the info, I guess without the relocation bracket It would definitely rub.
Would you have a pic of how you installed it?
