LOL to Truck Lites being brighter than HIDs. Maybe brighter than crappy drop in HIDs but my Morimoto Sealed7s from The Retrofit Source are better than my truck lites in every single way except ease of install

My jeep was pointing at my garage with my pops grand cherokee with factory hids next to me. He got out and said wtf my lights look yellow next to yours and the did. That said you can go wrong with either choice

I'm on my second set of truck lites

Only sold the first pair because I moved to New York State and the snow sticks a lot worse here than in Maine

So I sold my 1st pair to a California guy and bought the new heated tl's

One thing with tl's, I've never had a single driver flash their highs at me!

Even on 37's im still ok light cut off wise

There is a lot to be said for that, not how they look with your color Jeep

Makes jeep folks look stupid with people getting blinded and making a note that it was a Jeep...

I'd argue they're the fool for not having one as well! only somewhat joking. I feel as though sometimes people will flash you on the back roads just because how white they are. I know my cut off is fine and they're adjusted I just think some people will be jerks regardless

I agree

Some twit once posted how cool he thought it was to have his lights set up high and to be able to blind folks in cars...

It bugs me how much I have to spend for decent lights when vehicles like my wife's subaru wagon has state of the art lighting

I'm on my fifth Jeep and the headlights almost seem to have gotten worse!

I had my Lil heart set on trucklites and even had the bosses approval on the purchase until I rode in a club members jeep last night.... without trying to sound like a pansy, I couldn't get over the "x's and y's" that the light produces. I agree that the light output was much greater than stock, but those annoyances out weigh the positives for me. Looks like I'm either going to have to step up and get jw evo 2's.

They gave me a quote of 309 shipped, look wise they are different, but I've never heard of them before.
Ours are completely in stock, free shipping to forum members, and completely plug and play. We also have anti flicker harnesses available for pre order!

After the first week I totally forgot about the x or y,

I'm wicked picky about aesthetics and symmetry, and at least in my case it turned out to be a non issue

I'm curious if the output do the evo 2s but I will say my sealed 7 is bright. High beams are insane too. What bulbs are you running?

I did that & the KC HiLites adapters from there, and I'm very pleased with them.
