Default New Jack ??

Anyone have a good recomendation for a new jack that could possibly fit in the stock storage space or in general that would work with 33's and 2.5" lift? I would like to get the Hi-Lift but from what I can tell I will have no jack points with my stock bumpers.

The stock scissor jack will still work, just jack from under the axles. If you want something else, look for a bottle jack that will fit in the storage area.

The stock scissor jack may still work. The scissor jack should be placed under the axle and not lift the body. As a matter of fact, the stock scissor jack will not lift a Jeep enough if attached to the body or bumper without a lift.

Just get the AEV jack base. My stock jack worked along with it when I had a 5" lift and 37s. Very nice piece.

A couple of scrap pieces of 2x6 work great for a jack base and can be used under the tires to help get out of soft ground. Go to Home Depot and look for some scrap cull lumber - they usually sell it very cheap.

i've always been a fan of piston jacks. Really durable and sturdy. i got a 12 ton jack from autozone for about $50 and i think it goes up to 18" if i recall correctly. I keep mine in the back of the jeep in a milk crate along with all my oil and fluids

Edit: Wont work on cars though as its about 6-8" tall
