NEW JK Owner
What gearing do you have, 3.73 or 3.21? Also, if you are going to get new wheels and tires, may want to talk to your sales person and see if your dealer is interested in buying back your stock take offs. I sold all 5 of mine back to the dealer for $500. The dealers buy them back so that they can stick them on any trade ins that come in with the steel wheels. This may help fund the lift and wheels / tires or another mod. Just a thought.
Thanks for the tip... I will ask them.
This is 33x11.5s and a 2.5" budget boost. The 16" wheels have 4.5" BS.

This is 35s x12.5s and a 2.5" coil lift. Same wheels as before.

This is what a mostly stock Jeep (rock rails only, no lift, stock SRA tires) can do ...

You don't need to be in a hurry to spend your money. Learn your Jeep and pace yourself. Enjoy the ride!

Question is.. should I stick with stock size and utilize wheel spacers to widen stance or should I just go with a 33" x 11.5? Want an agressive look and stance. Don't do much off roading but don't want rubbing issues either.
Thanks in advance

If you like the look of bigger tires, just get them. Thee is nothing wrong with keeping stock rims and getting larger ties, but you need spacers.
There is tons of advice. Read up and really decide what you WANT and do that!
Have fun!
My wife gave me $hit about spending money on a lift, rims and tires. Then i made her drive it through town and when all the young guys in their jacked up pickups were checking her out and staring in jelousy she decided that I have to buy her one and Jack it up too. I guess my kids won't be going to college.
Lots of good, valuable info on this site but just beware If you have a different idea there will be the trolls that attack you and I will say there is a higher then normal amount around here for a unknown reason. We are mostly all here for the same reason butt some just have no life and want to be negative on everything. Good luck enjoy your jeep!!
