New lift help
Is there such a thing as an inexpensive lift? I want to put a 3.5 in lift on, but the ones I've been looking at are relatively inexpensive. I don't want to buy crap and any input is greatly appreciated.
It's all about the components. Take a close look at the kits and see 'why' they are so inexpensive compared to the more expensive or more complete kits out there.
Brackets instead of adjustables?
Fixed instead of adjustables?
Cams instead of adjustables?
Nothing instead of something?
Will a cheap lift work? Sure. Will you be happy with it as is? Dunno. Will you end up spending a lot more money to add more components? Probably.
Just depends.

Get a 2.5in Budget boost and a 1in body lift. Gives you 3.5 cheaply and easily . Draw back is if you start adding alot of weight to the rig, heavy bumpers, winch, etc. will cause the stock coils to compress.

I've been reading so many reviews about Rough Country and some people like them and some say that they are the worst. I need something to clear 35's with some minimal non aggressive offroading. I was actually looking at the new 3.5 from Rough Country in the new issue of JP Magazine for $500. It has shocks, coils, and also lower control arms with a new Pitman arm
