Do you think that kit will work with my wheels that are 17x9 with 5"backspace?

'Fixed' arms and brackets. That may be fine for your needs, but get a handle on what that actually means.
ex. what happens when you lose a driveshaft and install an aftermarket double cardan?
Have there been any issues with the tracbar bracket/drop pitman? What was the 'fix'?

Again, you may have no issues with this, or any other, lift, but there is a reason for the some kits having very low prices. Instead of jumping into the lift decision, spend some time on the research...

The RC lft you are looking at has fixed lower control arms. If you are buying a lift with control arms you would be better off with adjustable control arms so you can set the caster.

Check out the components. For a little more money there are lifts that are a better value.

I wouldnt get the kit without the new 2.2 shocks. Also on the RC site, there are two 4 inch lift kits. One is just the regular 4 inch and the other is the x-flex lift kit. Don't get the one that isn't the x- flex kit, because it doesn't have the control arms. Also don't get any suspension lift over three inches, unless you plan on getting new drive shafts. You would need a new Double cardigan shaft to compensate for the lift. Your stock shaft would work, but sooner or later it will go out. If you have a automatic then you will need a new front also. I Dont understand all of that to exlain it better, hopefully wayoflife or someone else can explain it better for you

Thanks. You did bring up a good point about the drive shafts. I don't plan on replacing them, so the 3"or 2.5" sounds like my best bet.

This kit will clear 35 inch tires as long as your backspacing is between 4-4.75. Even with backspacing the 35s may rub with extreme flexing.http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_2perf.html

This kit will have no problems with clearing 35s with flex, al long as you have proper backspacing or wheelspacers on factory wheels.http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_combo.html

Make sure you order your Rough County stuff with a Rough Country vender on this fourm, they will give you 10% off

Edit: i see you already have wheels that have 5 inch backspacing, you should be alright with clearance

That's the one I was thinking about, but I was reminded about going bigger than 3" with the drive shafts. I may go with the link you posted 2.5" suspension and body lift. I know everyone says I'll be fine with the 5" backspace, but I'm still concerned

If your wheels are aftermarket, then you can always get some spitertrax wheel spacers to make your back spacing(they are 1 1/2 inches thick, but im not sure exactly how much backspacing they add, im guessing about one inch)
