Default New Misch Dashboard Organizer?

Just saw that Misch has come out with a pretty nice looking center dashboard organizer and I was wondering if anyone knows if it'll work with any of the Sport Cages. It looks like it might be too tall but wanted to see if anyone has first hand knowledge. To clarify this is the panel that has the compass on the underside...similar organizers like the Daystar don't work but I'm holding out hope someday somebody will come up with one that does.

are you talking about the little tray that fits on top of the dash, in the center, right over the stereo?

exactly, not sure if you're like me Roger but ever since installing the sport cage I've had a Daystar panel just sitting in the garage collecting dust!

if it's Q's part# 14139.0200 and Misch's part# JKDTT150...i bought one last october. it's made out of flimsy plastic, fit and finish is ok at best, a Garmin GPS unit wouldnt work with it because of the raised front edge of the tray...the Garmin couldnt be positioned where the driver could see it. anything i put in the tray, slid out on every turn.

i will say the owner of the company at least attempted to help. i emailed my complaints last year on thanksgiving day. he called me back that night! we talked for about 20mins as he said he was at the airport heading out of town, but would call me back with some solutions or alternatives that next week. fair enough. i'm still waiting.

i got tired of having the useless product on top of my dash (plus the velcro holding it down was coming loose)...it wound up in the trash.

Not great praise for sure! I'll verify part number tonight and thanks for the input!

I just trimmed my Daystar panel a little, and it works fine with my Rockhard cage crossbar, which I installed about 1/2" higher than spec, for better heat on my windshield.

BTW, velcro works great for holding a GPS or cell etc. just where you want it. I always put the fuzzy side in the device, and prickly on dash, then I can swap things around. ?
