If the back can be readily detached so when the back seats are folded one can still utilize the entire length I would be interested. I have a couple of 54" Pelican cases that only fit my Unlimited with the seats folded. I have been eying the Bestop Flexatrunk because of this feature. Provision for the factory sub would be good too.

I would love to have something like this for my 4-door JK, so that I can go without a top, or doors, and not have to remove things from the back. I totally agree that it should cover the full back area (right up to the door), full width would be nice, as it would allow for protection from water leakage. I also think it would be great to have the front wall be openable (through a hinge and lock on the top) if the back seats are moved down.

I actually have a full form traced out using 3/4" plywood ready to be cut and put in place when the weather is good. It would be coated with spray bedliner for protection, but I'd rather go the metal route if possible.

I just don't like a drawer (with no front outer wall) or the plastic flexatrunk as secure options.

I would be interested in this. I would like to see something for the 4 door that fills the back, and is secure enough to tie stuff to the top of too. I am sure they can't have it touching the swing gate since it would scratch the crap out of it, but it would be nice to have some quality weather strip there or something to help seal out dust and water. Also if it could be taken out, or adjusted to use the full cargo area when the seats are folded and accomodate the factory sub. That isn't too much to ask for is it?

I spoke to tuffy and they said that this is atleast a month out. Right now they are concerned with redesigning the overhead console for the 09 people. I was told that I would be updated and I will in turn tell you guys the deal.

Would have definitely been interested in this for my 2 dr, had to go build a wooden cover with vinyl covering instead in the meantime (in my sig), but will check back on this option.

This would be a great product, its actually what I was planning on building myself. If the price isnt to rediculas im very interested and would buy it for sure. A definate need for me, not an option if I want to take the top off and go to work too.
