Great question since their housings and shape look just like "smittybuilt's" winches... Compare the XRC 10 side by side with the Quadratec 11000!

And I would definitely hop on this winch is they offered a synthetic rope upgrade!!!

Here is a comparison:

Hello Everyone,

I'm sure there will be tons of questions, concerns, and wonders about our brand winch. All of which I will try to answer as best I can for you.

So for starters, Yes the winch is made in China. It is not the same winch or made in the same factory as Rugged Ridge or Smittybilt brand winches. We sourced the highest quality parts possible for our winch, customized all of the internals for the best performance, and offer a 1 year electrical warranty teamed with a Limited Lifetime mechanical warranty. These winches have been in testing for 4-5 months now, and we've gone through different suppliers, different components, and many different trials. The final product is now on its way to our warehouse, to be in your hands by early March. Youtube videos will be posted soon for everyone to see as well.

The pricing for our winch should not change. Our aim was to be able to offer these winches to our customers at this competitive price. As far as a synthetic rope model, I'm sure it will become available in the future, but I cannot confirm or deny that at this time.

The winches are the industry standard water resistant design. They are not designed to be fully waterproof and submerged while in use. Other than that, they'll work rain, snow, sleet, hail

Thanks for your response - I think the concern especially with myself. I am in the pine barrens often, Many water crossing and overly deep puddles. what the thought would be is if they get submerged they will still operate.. but understood that not to operate underwater - as you stated not waterproof but resistant.

The definition that i am aware is water resistant can be submerged but not for lengths of time and not be damaged. And water proof can be submerged and sustain water resistance for an approximated amount of time @ Typically 1-2 meters. At least thats the marine industry definition.

A good question here on non-operating submersions. Currently the main person who was in charge with the build is out of the office, but as soon as I can get ahold of him and ask, I'll get you an answer. I don't want to type my assumption and have it be wrong! Should have an answer shortly.

Will the Q9000 fit on an AEV front bumper (with the solenoid mounted on top)?
