Default new shocks

Should I replace my stock shocks with 50K mi with a 3" spacer lift?

Got someone to add coil spacers and realized that they also added a bracket to extend the stock shock. I want to get the right size shock - not extend the old one. Are Skyjacker shocks the way to go - price seems to be good.

I have skyjacker hydro shocks and they are working just fine. I've had them on for a year and no problems so far.
