New shocks / Question

Ok just got off the phone with Stan at Northridge4x4.ca and he says he would recommend running the normal length OME shocks with my set up (TF 2.5 coil lift). He said the normal length OME shocks are designed to work with the OME coil lift. He said the LT shocks wold require me to get into brake lines etc.
Got the LT shocks and haven't had problems with brake lines.

Last summer I put a 2 1/2" teraflex coil lift with shock extenders on my X....Now I want to get new shocks, How do I determine what size shocks to buy? I'm not sure how to figure this out. Any opinions or input on witch brand of shock to buy would be appreciated as well. Thanks
