Default New shoes!!!!

Im a very happy camper this weekend. Well except for the whole run in with the Texas State Revenue/Police department. But im not going to get into that cause im sure it would turn out very very ugly.

Anyways onto the good news. I drove to Humble Texas this weekend to pick up TEV's old tires and do a little wheeling. Getting the tires and spacers on was not all too bad. The Jeep looked ALOT better after that. Although I still think TEV's Jeep looks way better.

After we got them on we grabbed a bite to eat then headed out to Springcreek Offroad. Man what a good time I had. That place is way too much fun. They need to open a place like that here in Tulsa. That place has everything. Trails, Sand, Water crossings, Mud, and the list just goes on. That place reminded me of how fun it was to play on the play ground as a little one.

My favorite was crossing the creek they had. We took the diagonal line across. I was freaking out when TEV pointed his rig to the water and said lets cross. Now he has 35's with a 3'' lift and im sitting there with a 3/4'' front spacer with his old 33'' tires. When he went in first and I saw how deep the water went and how his tires just kinda disappeared for a second I about had a heart attack. But then I started listening to the voice that was chanting DO IT! What an odd feeling to have water all around you and feel the water slapping the bottom of the tub with your feet.

But I made it through without any problems. Then there is a drain tunnel you can drive through thats pretty neat to do. I better just shutup and post a few pictures im sure this is already gonna be a choir to read lol.

Last but not least THANKS TEV!!!! For showing me such a good time on saturday.

Sounds like you had a great weekend. Your Jeep looks great. Do you have the stock X 17" rims on it?

Just for you Rubimon! I was driving along some little town like 20 miles away from humble I forget what highway I was on but I had the cruise control set at 65. The last sign I saw was 65 so here I am thinking im doing the speed limit when this cop pulls a u turn then turns his lights on. At first im like im not doing anything wrong so I dident think anything of it till he started getting up on my ass. I pulled over and right off the bat the guy is like im citing you a ticket for going 72 in a 55. I was like what the heck the last sign I saw was a sign that said 65 and I was going 65. I WAS GOING WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC! He then walks back with the ticket and im like your not gonna cut me a break im from out of town and I dont know these roads very well I really thought it was 65. He really dident respond. He was one of those typical traffic cops. Knows how to write a ticket and say have a good day.

I thought cops here in Oklahoma where bad. This guy makes them look damn good.

Here are a few little wheeling pictures. Taken from my phone of course. I hate the way cameras make things look not so steep.

He was just pissed because your vehicle is cooler than his.
