No you don't need new tires, they may just look small depending on how high you are lifting the Jeep.

+1 ^^ It's all going to be relative to how you want it to look, but you don't "need" larger tires in order to lift it. 2 to 2.5" is probably the cut off where anything above that would start looking a bit odd.

What size lift are you wanting to run? Your tires are basically 33" tires, so with a smaller lift in the 2-2.5" range it should look ok. But to answer your question, No, you don't need new tires. Depending on the lift manufacturer, you may need wheel spacers with stock wheels though.

Oh, and Welcome to the forum!

Of course you need bigger tires, everyone needs bigger tires. What a silly question ...

Depending on how deep you choose to get into the forum, you'll find that you can actually go with huge tires and no lift. Welcome to the rabbit hole!

You'll do just fine with a true 2.5" lift, especially a nicer kit that gives you a level height adjustment. With smaller tires a level Jeep is key, the factory rake tends to make it look more "lifted" and makes the tires appear smaller.
