Can anyone tell me if there is a chart to figure out the actual speed of my Jeep after installing new tires? Is this something that is a hard fix in the comp or can it be reflashed to be correct again? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

you need to get an aev procal, superchips flashqaq or hypertech to correct your speedometer.

+1 on the ProCal. If you just want to adjust your speedo then the Procaomp is a cheap solution. About $150 and it can also adjust your TPMS settings among a few other things.

 

Doesn't help with TPS reports, though.

I picked mine up used for cheap and really like it. I've reset:

- TPMS (to zero with my aftermarket wheels)
- gear ratio
- tire size
- OTLC (one touch lane change)

I think that's all.

 

Just a caution that most of these are tied to a VIN number. Some can be released by removing the modified software; some require a payment to the manufacturer to get the VIN released. Do some research on any you might chose and don't buy one that might still be tied to a VIN (such as from a sketchy source on eBay).
