I would guess any of the three would do better than swampers. Of the three, I would get the MTZ.

Brian, I have a lead on some of those exact tires (MTZ) with 2K miles on them. I was gonna get them for myself. PM me if you are interested. That would be 5 tires and rims.

Just food for thought...

When I bought my MTZ's, I searched online for the best price I could get which was right at $800 with shipping (4 tires). Then, you have to pay the tire store to mount/balance them which would have been about $80. Not to mention you have to wait for the tires to come in, then figure out how to get em to the tire place.

I called my local tire store (locally owned, not a chain), and asked if they could get the MTZ's....they said yes, and they'll be here tomorrow. So, I didn't have to order them myself and wait for them to come in...I went the next day and had them installed, all for $830.

SO, in my case, it would have been about $880 +/- to order the tires, wait, take them to the store, have them installed. Instead, I got them the next day for $50 cheaper and that's with lifetime rotate/balance and road hazzard.

All I'm saying is check around....

How does the Goodyear MTR compare to the Toyo MT? I have heard good things about each of these? I have been leaning toward the Toyo, but wanted to buy the best/most agressive tire that is good on the road, too.
