Hmm...maybe someone has incentives to push their new AT2's! LOL!! While the AT2's are very nice looking tires, I think their performance off-road vs. the mud terrain will depend on the terrain itself. Rock crawling, I don't see how that tread pattern would do better the the M/T.

Plus, the sidewalls on the m/t are much more agreesive and "appear" to odder much better sidewall protection. Just my two cents...

As for Toyo M/T vs. KM2...think it's all been said. Toyo is a more true to size tire, is one of the quietst on-road tires and performs as well, if not better, than the KM2.

Only downside is it's one heavy tire....much heavier than the KM2. But with that heavyness comes a stronger tire that will protect better on a trail.

I recently bought a set of Toyo MTs 285/75/17. So far I like them. My question to you guys who have this tire what are you airing down to. I aired down to 15 and I'm thinking I need to go lower. Trails would be similar to Moab slick rock and rock crawling

Km2's may last a little longer, but the Toyos are better off road and more durable.

15psi with my 315/75/16 won't flex at all. 10psi seems to be a decent spot but I am pretty sure I could go even lower if I wanted to.

I cant decide im stuck between Toyo MT, or BFG KM2. I've heard good things about both tires. Please help me decide. If you can provide feed back on which one last longer and has better off road performance. This is my DD i drive about 25 miles a day, and use this a my vacation vehicle for the family.

By they way i have a 2013 Rubicon, Auto, with 4.10 Gears. So i will have no issues with gearing.

Thanks for the help in advance.
I have a 2013 JKR and put ProComp MT2 315/70/17 tires on. Cheaper and work real good on rock (air down to 12psi) and so far good in the mud. They are really quiet on the road also.

I've got a 2012 with MR standards, AEV 2 1/2" lift and 35" Toyo MTs with 4.1 axle and I wouldn't change a thing!
