Yeah, I hear ya... but I think that, with my lift, they will look funny and might shift the COG to the top too much.
I am going to start looking into this more... but I agree with you guys, I probably shouldn't be taking this trip with the tires I have now. Thanks for all the feedback!

Buy the tires! Never, never, never skimp on tires or stretch them too far!
I wish I had back in 2000, when I lost the rear (a Michelin, good tread, 4 y/o) on the Ducati at about 85mph in a sweeper! I had just put the new tires on the Beemer, they were younger but had more wear.
It took four broken bones in my shoulder, but I leaned my lesson well.
