Newbie needs help ordering wheels
Hi
I live in the UK and two weeks ago placed an order with my dealer for a 2012 2 door Sahara in black.
I want to change the stock 17" wheels with something in black.
However, I have quite a few questions????
I've decided to buy on ebay from the US some KMC Addicts, I'm think 17" is best with 33" tires.
I'll probably fit BFG Mud tires that can be bought locally although I may be better to buy everything as a set on ebay (with Nitto Mud Grappler).
To be honest I know nothing about ordering wheels and tires. All I know is that the stock wheels look flimsy and too skinny, so would like beefy wheels that fill out to the edge of the fenders, don't know if I just use spacers or go for a thicker tyre. I must make it clear that this is a daily drive vehicle so I need a tire that can be used daily on the road. I'll be doing very little off road.
So can you explain to me what the offset, bolt pattern, etc. means so that I don't order from the US and then find they need to be returned?
Thanks for your help.
