@ the OP:

Why not support a site sponsor, be assured of good after sale customer service, and know what you're getting into with your purchase?

You're not going to be very happy with 4.10s on 35s, not if you do much slow speed trail work.

I run 33 inch duratracs on my 3.21 gears and I think its fine. I run 6th gear on highway and sometimes 5th gear. It works just fine. I want to regear to 4.88 for 35s though.

Well, of course 4.10s would be better. And, I'm not sure what you mean "true 33s". 33 inch tires, or any tire for that matter, are smaller than their stated size because of the way we measure (for reprogramming purposes), and the way the tire manufacturers measure. They just blow up the tire and measure from bulge to bulge. We measure with the tire inflated to running pressure (typically 30 psi, versus perhaps 50), then measure from the ground (and the tire's flat spot against that ground), to the shoulder on top of the tire (not to the largest bulge on top of the tire). My 33 inch tire is a "true 33", and it measures 31.25" by me.

My very strong recommendation (for six speed owners):

1. 4.10s are only MARGINALLY acceptable for highway use. Sixth gear can be used for cruising on level ground and without head winds. Throw in either of those, and you'll be spending a lot of time in fifth and even fourth gear.

2. If you have 3.21s or whatever and can get 4.10s for free and can install them yourself, then by all means go for it. However, if you're going to pay someone a grand (American dollars) to install gears, whether or not you're getting the 4.10s for free, spend the extra money and get proper gears--either 4.56 or 4.88 (the latter if you ever will go to 35s). That way you won't be coming back disappointed in six months, and spending yet another grand on regearing to the ratio you should have selected in the first place.

I want stock performance back plus some without sacrificing too much fuel mileage and the 4.10's put me right where I want to be. I've driven a 4 Door Rubi and a 4 door Sahara with 6 spd, 4.10's and true 33's and they were more than noticiably better than what I have now, especially on the highway lol. Don't do math, measure them. Mine are supposed to be 33's and they started as 32.1, now down to 31.9. The stock Rubi comes with 4.10 and some of the guys think that is underpowered. I guess if you do not wheel much, it doesn't make much of a difference, I just think 4.10s are a waste of the installation cost.

Again, I am not trying to be hard headed with you, I researched this for 3 years, and I know you will waste you hard earned dollars putting 4.10's in with 33's. It will be better than 3.21's for sure, but I am happy with 4.88's with my 33's.

Well, some 33's are actually closer to 33" at running PSI (let's say 32.6 or so) and some like 32.1 brand new (Like Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's for example) Even a half inch make a difference in RPM's.

I went with 4.88's I would have done that with 33 tires but I went with 35 Goodyear Mtr Kevlars that measure 34.25 and I love the 4.88's I had 3.21's and man once I drove it with the new gearing I realized what a crap gearing is the 3.21...................I went the extra step and did ARB air lockers front and rear since I had to change my front carrier. Don't step over a dollar to save a dime do it right the first time.

Just my opinion of course.

You know what we need, is a get together with all types of setups because calculations can only go so far. One has to drive it to know. Now my suggestion is academic when you think of all the variables in a "get together":
1. there are 50 states
2. Auto vs manual
3. 32s, 33s, 35s, 37s...
4. 3.21, 3.73, 4.10, 4.56, 4.88 ...
5. stock weight vs modded weight
6. daily driver vs offroad only vs hybrid
7. mainly flat terrain driving vs hilly
8. highway vs around town
9. wind or no wind

If a get together was close I would surely be there, but probably just a short drive might not be enough to make a final decision between say 4.88 vs 4.56 because they are so similar etc.

I have to agree with the others.......I have the auto, 33s and 4:10s. I do also have the Airaid and Flashpaq. It's my dd and I drive anywhere from 45 to 90 miles everyday. I can get around nicely and don't have any problems passing anybody quickly. But, with that said....I STILL would like better performance. So if it was me, and if I was going to go through the time and expense of regearing, I'd definitely go with 4:88 or even 5:13s. You'll be a lot happier you did.
