Default Newby build quistion

Hi I'm new to the forum and would appreciat any advice. I have a 2012 jku with auto trans. I'm putting on a 5.5 inch rock kawler lift with 3.5inch springs and it is the x factor plus with the 3 link in rear. It comes with the high steering and I'm getting the HD tie rod with it. I am going with 4.88 gears and 37's. I'm putting evo sleeves and gussets. And I have the afe y pipe on order. And for now going to cut fenders. With the y pipe am I going to need new drive shafts? I have got a lot of great ideas from this forum and would really like some input.

Thanks
Jeff

I think you are going to need to replace the DS as the angle will be too great and will eventually fail. There are some threads out there that talk about it more, also, if you go to youtube and search teraflex exhaust spacer you will see a video on how to install the exhaust spacers. At the end of the video they mention and show the issue with the drive shaft.

Hope that helps.....

Yes you will need a new front driveshaft. I have the same RK suspension minus the 3-link conversion in the rear with the y-pipe installed. I installed a Coast 1310 front driveshaft.
