Next step, selecting wheels...
Hello fellow jeepers,
We have our tires. 315/70r17 Baja MTZ- measurements are 34.6 x slightly under 12.5
On order soon will be MC Game Changer 2.5 rocksport
After speaking with MC they recommend 4.5 backspacing or less, meaning 4.25 or 4. This all sounds good to me and I'm ready to pull the trigger but after speaking with a few folks at quadratec they are heavily recommending I get 4 or 4.25.
Who has a MC 2.5 with 35's? What is your backspacing and any issues rubbing?
So here we are stuck in limbo. Do I stick with 4.5 or continue looking for 4 or 4.25??

While I don't have that specific lift, 4.5 in back spacing is pretty much standard for Jeep JKs on 35x12.50 (315/70). My wheels are 4.75, and I am running 315/70 17 Good Year MTR K's. With the 4.75in back spacing I get minor rubbing between the back of the tire and the frame at full stuff with the wheels turned to the lock in either direction. Not a big concern in IMO. 4.5 back spacing should work fine.

I ran 35s with 4.5 bs on stock suspension and I rubbed in front on the frame and sway bar. As soon as I installed my 3.5" MC GS ARB lift, all rubbing went away. Not sure if that extra inch or so that I have is gonna cause u to rub. I'm moderately heavy. So if ur relatively light, then u will net more than my advertised lift height, all things considering. Does that even make sense? Sorry if I'm not explaining that correctly.

Makes perfect sense, I will be on the lighter side for a while so I will anticipate closer to 3.5 as MC explains regarding actual ride height. That's good to hear, and full articulation and turning radius is good??
