Owned Terra's in 33 they were a good overall tire. I was not unhappy at all I just bought too small of a tire
Went 35" trail graps 6 months later and no regrets. Added bonus featur the low hum noise puts my toddler to sleep pretty quick.

Thanks guys, i went with the Trail Grapplers 285/70R17 also have the KMC Rockstar Rims coming as well. I dont have a lift, so I think the 33's will be fine from reading the thread. I have less than 2K miles on the Jeep, so be curious to see. Looks like I will have to get the tool to recali the spedometer. Thanks for input, I'll be sure to post pics and feedback after the weekend.

Well I got the Rims and Tires put on today at BelleTire, and all I can say is now I own a Jeep. There is no rubbing with the Nitto Trail Grapplers on 285/70R17 Mounted on 17x9 KMC XD Rockstar Rims. The Jeep looks awesome, this really did a great job to make it stand out. After I wash it this weekend, I will take pics and post. Also took it for road test on highway tonight, and like others I was shocked on little sound it made. Like others said you turn on the radio a little, and you cant hear at all.
So if anyone else is looking at these tires, go out and get them!

I'm looking at getting the 295/70/17 trail grapps (33.5") but I'm a little worried about loss in gas mileage and power (2011 JKU w/ 3.73s). Any input on this too?

Trail grapplers for sure. The only time mine are loud is after a tire rotation, but they always quiet down after a little while. That's normal with any tire though

I went with the same tires on my 2008 JKU Rubi with 4.10's, plus 2.5" lift. I lost 1-2 MPG but Superchipped it and am back close to stock MPG (if I keep my right foot out of it.) I have a manual though so I hear some of the Auto guys saying it is worse. I definitely feel a little power loss on big hills but the old minivan engine was never a dragster to start out with.
